Tourism Administration issues travel warning for Hong Kong protests

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has issued a travel warning over Hong Kong (China)'s ongoing protests to departments of culture, sport and tourism; departments of tourism of cities and provinces nationwide.
Local airlines, including Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet cancell their flights to Hong Kong International Airport (China) due to protests.

The document No.1187/TCDL-LH asks relevant departments to inform to international travel enterprises that have groups of tourists in Hong Kong to coordinate with functional departments to ensure visitor’s safety, and avoid areas where demonstrations are taking place.
In case of emergency, Vietnamese citizens can seek help from the Consulate of Vietnam in Hong Kong (China) and Vietnam Consulate in Macau through the hotlines (+85) 251 706 743 or (+85) 228 359 308 or the citizen protection hotline 84 981 8484 84.
