Airlines, including Vietnam Airlines, Viejet Air, and Jetstar Pacific on March 23 announced to increase airfare.
Accordingly, the national carrier Vietnam Airlines will increase business class ticket on local routes from VND100, 000-VND500, 000 per flight, and VND40, 000-VND3000, 000 for economy class, starting from April 1.
However, the carrier will maintain around 10 low-cost prices for each domestic route and decide not to increase airfares of some local routes.
Vietjet Air has increased service fees from VND100,000 to VND140,000 per domestic flight and from VND120,000 to VND160,000 per international flight, starting March 22.
Jetstar Pacific has also increased management fees from VND100,000 to VND130,000 per route from March 15.
