Samsung intends to build research and development center in Hanoi

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General director of Samsung Vietnam at the Government Office in capital city of Hanoi yesterday afternoon.

At the reception, Mr. Choi Joo Ho mentioned Samsung Vietnam planned to build its largest research and development (R&D) center in the Southeast Asian region locating in capital city of Hanoi, with a scale of 3,000 experts. 

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasized the importance of this project and appreciated that Samsung Vietnam 's export volume by 5 percent would impact for Vietnam's economic development this year. 

Besides that, he hoped the group would continue expanding investment in Vietnam in the forthcoming time. 

On the same day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc made a meeting with President of CapitaLand Mr. Ng Kee Choe to discuss on future clean environmental projects, which consistent with trends of a green, ecological and smart urban.
