The experts said that Podul would be able to make landfall in the North- Central provinces from August 28.
According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, its eye was located at around 550 kilometers from the Philippines’s Luzon Island with maximum winds of 60- 75 kilometers this early morning.
During the next 24-48 hours, the dangerous zone is predicted to move quickly west- northwestward at its speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour.
By 7am tomorrow, Podul is forecast to be at around 770 kilometers from the Paracel Islands with sustained winds of 60- 75 kilometers an hour.
On the following days, the tropical storm will operate stronger.
