A sudden high rainfall of between 85- 128 mm hit some places in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces.
Provinces and cities from Da Nang to Binh Dinh also suffered the same weather condition with its peak rainfall of 127- 486 mm.
As forecast, the downpour and thunderstorm are expected to continue in provinces from Thanh Hoa to Binh Dinh, from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai.
Cyclone and flash flood are warned to threaten local rivers in Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa provinces.
