Vung Tau proposes fine on supermarket for selling product with 'nine-dash line'

Head of the Department of Culture and Sport in the southern city of Vung Tau Tran Ba Viet yesterday said that the department has sent an advisory document proposing the city People's Committee to impose a fine on a local supermarket for selling a product with 'nine-dash line' printing.

Before, inter-agency inspectors discovered two globe-shaped lights printed with the nine-dash line  while paying an unscheduled visit to U Mart supermarket in Chi Linh urban area in Ward 10 on November 11.
According to the supermarket manager, employees willingly sell the product without censor in advance and receipt.
Inspectors wrote a report seizing the product to destroy later.
