Vietnamese leader congratulates Cambodia on National Day

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Dung led a delegation to extend congratulations to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in the capital city of Hanoi yesterday afternoon on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of National Day of Cambodia (November 9, 1953- 2019).

Sharing with Cambodian Ambassador Chay Navuth, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung said that Vietnam pleasured at outstanding achievements of the neighboring country over the past 66 years, especially the economic growth in the recent years.

In addition, the Vietnamese leader also appreciated the good relationship between the two states via annual summits between delegations, the recent official visit of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen to Vietnam which brought a historical meaning as both sides signed two legal documents to record 84 percent of the works in Vietnam-Cambodia land border demarcation and marker planting.

The Cambodian ambassador strongly affirmed to make more efforts in boosting the comprehensive relationship between the two countries and to closely collaborate with Vietnam to hold important diplomatic events in 2020.
