State leaders visit Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh

On the occasion of the 127th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890- 2017), leaders of Party, State and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee yesterday visited Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and the Martyrs' Memorial Monument.

The visit was attended by Nguyen Phu Trong General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Le Kha Phieu and Nong Duc Manh, former Party General Secretaries; Tran Duc Luong, former Vietnamese President; Prime Minster Nguyen Xuan Phuc; National Assemble Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Nguyen Van An and Nguyen Sinh Hung, former National Assembly Speakers; Nguyen Thien Nhan, Chairman of Vietnam Central Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and other leaders.

In a sacred atmosphere, leaders paid pride and commemoration for genius leader Ho Chi Minh - the nation's first president with his great contributions for revolutionary career of Party and nation.  

The delegation also visited and laid wreathes to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Martyrs' Memorial Monument.

On the same day, a delegation from Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Public Security and the Steering Committee for the Coordination of the Ba Dinh Culture and Historical Site laid wreathes at Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and the Martyrs' Memorial Monument.
