South Korean tourist died after jumping off from Datanla waterfall

A South Korean tourist has died after jumping off from a waterfall in Datanla Tourist Area in Da Lat City in the central highlands province of Lam Dong on September 22.

According to witnesses, Jang Won Seok, 23, touched the water surface wrong and died from sudden cardiac arrest.
The rescue force provided first aid at the site of the accident but the victim did not recover.
Jang was among a group of 11 foreign tourists, from Belgium, the U.K, South Korea, and Canada., who took part in an adventure tour organized by Thu Thach Viet, a local company at Datanla waterfalls.
In February 2016, three British tourists died in a climbing accident with an unauthorised tour guide when they were trekking at the Datanla waterfall.
