Private firm invests in 100 wastewater treatment plants

Dai Nam Company director general Huynh Uy Dung yesterday said that the company would invest VND10 trillion (US$428.73 million) in building 100 wastewater treatment plants nationwide.

The plant will use technology, which is studied and developed by Vietnamese engineers at the company, to process industrial wastewater into household water and production water.
The first plant is being built at Song Than 2 Industrial Zone, Di An town, Binh Duong province with the total cost of VND100 billion. The plant has the capacity of 10,000 cubic meters a day, expected to come into operation in November this year.
The company will build plants in the southern provinces of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc before constructing others nationwide.
