People’s Police Academy celebrates its 50th anniversary

The People’s Police Academy in Hanoi on May 14 held a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of its establishment (May 15) and receiving the ‘Hero of the People’s Armed Forces’ title.

Speaking at the event, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc honored staff members, teachers and students of the People’s Police Academy for their efforts in building the school to become one of the prestigious universities in the country.
He hoped that the People’s Police Academy will become a high-ranking prestigious police education and training center in the region and the world.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc presented the title of “Hero of the people’s armed forces during the anti-US resistance war for national salvation” to the academy.
The People’s Police Academy has now more than 1,300 officials and nearly 19,000 students.
