Nearly $ 25.8 bin to be spent in traffic connecting Central-Highlands regions

At a conference on traffic projects of connecting the central and highlands provinces held by the Ministry of Transport yesterday in the central province of Binh Dinh, approximately VND596,900 billion ($25.8 billion) was projected to be spent on traffic connect the Central and the Highlands regions for the period 2012-2030.

Participants petitioned that the Ministry should take heed of removing blockage in traffic in the two regions as well as traffic projects connecting the two regions.
Transport Minister Nguyen Van The said that at first investment will be poured in expressway North –South, highways along Ho Chi Minh Road and East-West traffic to exploit border gates and harbors.
