Nationwide sale of bio gasoline E5 to start sooner than schedule

Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) yesterday said that ethanol gasoline blend E5 called bio gasoline would be sold at all filling stations of the group nationwide at least 15 days sooner than schedule.

That means 2,400 stations of Petrolimex in the country will stop selling Ron 92 gasoline and only provide Ron 95 and E5 gasoline from December 15 at the latest.
Petrolimex has informed intermediate distribution system of the Government policy of no longer selling Ron 92 gasoline and replacing it with blend E5 from January 1 next year.
A representative of PetrolVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) said that the company has upgraded and expanded the system of warehouses to serve large scale trade of E5 gasoline, installed and put into operation 11 stations to mix the blend in the country.
The company will function other mixing stations in December to sufficiently supply its 540 filling stations and over 3,000 stations of general outlets, outlets and franchisee.
