The program was jointly organized by Viet Rural Magazine and People’s Committee in Vinh Hung District. Eleven rural bridges worth over VND12.5 billion ($544,871) are sponsored by enterprises.
On the occasion, enterprises also gave 250 gifts worth VND125 million to low-income households in the district.
So far, after two-year implementation, the program called for contribution of 14 enterprises that planned to build 85 bridges with total spending of VND82 billion.
On the same day, the organizers broke ground for the bridge leading to historic monument of revolutionary base in Nhon Hoa Lap Commune in Tan Thanh District. The new bridge is estimated to cost VND4 billion.
