Police in Thua Thien-Hue nab three drug traffickers

Police in the central province of Thua Thien – Hue yesterday announced to bust three drug traffickers that smuggled over 2.1 kilograms of heroin, 8.8 gram of heroin in other form and another 2,160 pills of synthetic drugs and other exhibits.

Anti-drug police officers suddenly raided a sedan in the crossroad Dinh Tien Hoang – Luong Ngoc Quyen in Hue City on June 10 to seize 0.8 gram of ketamin.
Moreover, Nguyen Ngoc Anh Duy , 1990, and Do Thi Kim Phuong, 1986, in the vehicle threw over 1.5 gram of heroin and one plastic of 10 pills of synthetic drugs out the car window.
Police officers continued to search Phuong’s house to seize additional 1.2 kilogram of heroin in the form of stone; 2,122 pills of synthetic drugs and 13 different swords.
Later police have nabbed Phuong’s husband, Lam Dai Phi, the ring leader, in Ho Chi Minh City.
Police decided to bring charges against those involved in the case.
