Thu Duc district launches app to receive residents’ complaints

Thu Duc district of Ho Chi Minh City officially launched its app “ Do thi Thu Duc” in mobile phone yesterday to receive complaints of traffic infrastructure incidents, traffic congestions and accidents, inundation, security order and firefighting.

Thu Duc dwellers can also send their complaints of illegal construction, sidewalk encroachment, and dropping litter.
Additionally, residents can lodge their complaints of construction management, infrastructure incidents and urban order management on the website dothi-thuduc.vlab.tech built by Thu Duc authorities.
Deputy Chairman of Thu Duc District People’s Committee Tran Van Dung said the district administrators will deal with complaints of fallen tree, traffic accidents, fire and explosion, and river erosion which cause great danger to people's life and property within three hours.
For other complaints, the district authorities will liaise with related agencies to handle within three working days meanwhile construction-relating complaints will be resolved in seven days, Mr. Dung said.
He affirmed all complaints will be handled and its result will be publicized.
He added that in 2018, the district authorities had provided online zoning information to locals; accordingly, the number of people arriving at the district People’s Committee dropped dramatically. Technology application has been allegedly proved fruitful.
