The requirements are quoted from the recently sent announcement from the Government Office about the PM’s conclusion at the working session with HCMC leaders.
According to the conclusion, the PM proposed the city to better implement city and region general plans; carry out urban plan to expand the city toward developing service, hi-tech and national startup center; build satellite cities toward regional connectivity and speed up the smart city project.
The city should pioneer science and technology application and innovation, considering that as the main motive power to boost socioeconomic development; strengthen administrative reform and well implement urban administration model to take the initiative in implementing policies to efficiently boost resources and solve environmental and human resource problems for the city development.
In addition, he encouraged HCMC to build action programs to implement large projects concerning traffic, social housing and resettlement comprising Tan Son Nhat airport expansion, the first metro line Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, anti-flooding and Mien Dong coach station removal.
