HCM City’s leaders visit Vietnamese heroic mothers

A delegation of senior officials of Ho Chi Minh City led by Deputy secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tat Thanh Cang visited and offered gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers in Nha Be district on July 24 on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of ‘War Invalids and Martyrs Day’ (July 27).

Mr. Tat Thanh Cang expressed his deep gratitude to heroic mothers, Dao Thi Nhanh, Bui Thi Tam and Le Thi Ho for their courage and contribution towards national liberation.
He wished them all good health and happiness and also asked the local authorities to take care of Vietnamese heroic mothers, war veterans and social policy beneficiaries, and help improve their lives.
On the same day, Vice Standing chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, Nguyen Thi Huu Tai and Hoang Thi Gai in district 4.
Meanwhile Vice chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Huynh Cach Mang offered presents to heroic mothers, Nguyen Thi Tuong, Nguyen Thi Sang and martyr’s wife Pham Thi Bung in district 10; and Son Thi Ky and wounded soldier Nguyen Van Lanh in Binh Thanh district. He also paid a visit to Thi Nghe Nursing Home.
Vice chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu offered gifts and witnessed a free medical examination and treatment for the poor in Nha Be district.
