The baby boy was born at exactly midnight and came in weighing 3.8kg. His mother is 42 year old Vo Thi Y Lan in district 10.
Meantime, surgeons in the Mekong delta city of Can Tho were performing a C-section on a mother in Cai Rang District who gave birth to a 3.2kg baby girl.
