U.S. Indo-Pacific Command visits Military Hospital 175

The Commander of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) led by Admiral Philip S. Davidson yesterday visited the Military Hospital 175 with the participation of Consul General Mary Tarnowka.

At the meeting, hospital director Major General Nguyen Hong Son informed the infirmary’s activities and cooperation with the US in past time; he expressed the gratitude to the US’s support in training medical workers for the hospital's first-ever UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.
On his part, Admiral Philip Davidson showed his eagerness about the US and Vietnam’s infirmary cooperation. He lauded the infirmary’s adoption of advanced technologies in treatment affirming that the US would continue providing training to Vietnamese medical workers and English to physicians in next time.
On the same day, the delegation toured the hospital’s treatment sections.
