The event, which is scheduled to take place in Hanoi on November 10 in Gamuda City in Hoang Mai District and in Ho Chi Minh City on November 24 in Celadon City in Tan Phu District, is operated by Gamuda Land in partnership with Heartbeat Vietnam Foundation.
With the message “Heart To Heart, Raise The Life", the event contributes to revitalizing the small hearts, so that they can play innocent, live healthy and achieve a bright future as they deserve.
Every year, of around 16,000 Vietnamese newborns suffering congenital heart diseases, 7,500 of them have to undergo operation or else they will die. The annual event has been organized from 2013.
So far, it has collected over VND23 billion ($991,252) to help carrying out operations on more than 900 disadvantaged children with congenital heart diseases.
Disadvantaged people in rural distant areas can’t afford surgery costs of around VND54 million - VND250 million (US$ 2,326 - $ 10,772); therefore, the program call on people to join hands to help them.
All the registration fee, contribution funds from participants and sponsors will be transferred to Heartbeat Vietnam Foundation to help poor children with congenital heart disease.
