The decision comes after the hospitalization of many kids in the northern province of Hung Yen’s Khoai Chau district after undergoing circumcisions in nurse Hien’s unlicensed clinic.
The People’s Committee in Hung Yen Province reconsidered to issue fine of VND110 million to the nurse for three violations.
The Department of Health yesterday worked with a scientific council of the National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology in Hanoi to arrive at the conclusion of the incident and source of transmission of the disease. The scientific council will propose measures to treat all kids with genital warts in the community.
The hospital said that so far, 79 kids in Hung Yen Province had been hospitalized for treatment of genital warts. The hospital has provided free-of-charge treatment to these kids under 15 years old in Khoai Chau District from July 17 to December 31, 2017.
