Ministry asks schools to stop short-term medical practice-oriented training

The Ministry of Health sent its document to medical institutions and schools providing medical training asking to stop their own medical practice-oriented training courses.
In the document, it pointed out that medical practice-oriented training courses have been run for years and the ministry has issued standards and regulations over the courses.
Meanwhile medical institutions and educational facilities have also launched their own medical practice-oriented training courses in 6 months or one year.
According to the Ministry, there has been no legal document about medical practice-oriented training courses. Hospitals and higher educational facilities have run these course of their own to meet learners’ demand.
Nevertheless, these courses are not analyzed by the Ministry and experts so their quality is uncontrollable.
