63 teachers honored for teaching disabled students

The Vietnam Youth Federation, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs yesterday held a press brief to introduce the program “Sharing with teachers” to celebrate Vietnamese Teacher’s Day ( November 20)

63 teachers honored for teaching disabled students
The organizers said that the program will honor 63 teachers who are teaching students with disabilities in educational facilities under the ministries’ management.
As a part of the program, the organizers will pay visits to young teachers nationwide in September.
Especially, the program will run an online competition named “ Thinking about special teachers of disabled students” to create a chance for all people to send encouragement to these teachers through www.facebook.com/chiasecungthayco.
The program organizers said that each young teachers honored this year will get a bank account of VND10 million ($430.8), certificates of merit and other rewards of the ministries.
It is scheduled that the award-giving ceremony will be held in Hanoi on November 20.
During three years the program has honored 166 teachers who have been working in 64 poor districts and island districts as per the government’s No. 30a/2008/NQ-CP.
