HBSO presents concert of Russian classical music

The Ho Chi Minh Ballet, Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) will present a concert featuring classical pieces by Russian composers at the municipal Opera House on September 7 with the participation of Vietnamese-Russian pianist Nguyen Thu Nga.

The masterpieces include Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F Minor, op. 36 and Sergei Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Major, op. 26.
The concert will be performed by pianist Nguyen Thu Nga, HBSO’s artists under the baton of conductor Le Ha My.
Pianist Nguyen Thu Nga graduated from the Central Music School of Moscow State P.I Tchaikovsky Conservatory. She received several prizes at piano contest in Russia and Europe, including Nikolai Rubinstein International Piano Competition, the “New Names” 9th International Festival in 1997, Rodion Shedrin, International Piano Competition Villa de Capdepera in 2010.
