Ba Ria - Vung Tau province receives 367 antiques

Collector Nguyen Ngoc An from Binh Thuan province’s Phan Thiet City handed over 367 antiques to the Department of the Culture, Sport and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province on August 3.

The collection inludes artifacts, such as axe, bowl, bottle, bracelet, earrings, rings, arrows and others that date 500-700 years BC. Experts believed they belong to cultures, including Sa Huynh, Dong Son and Oc Eo. Some of them are ancient items of dynasties of Ly, Tran, Le, Mac, Champa and Nguyen.
There are also Chinese antiques from the Han Dynasty, Ming Dysnaty and the Kangxi Emperor.
Collector Nguyen Ngoc An has presented more than 5,500 artifacts to cities and provinces nationwide.
