21st Vietnam Film Festival to take place later this month

The 21st Vietnam Film Festival will be held in Vung Tau city in the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau from November 23-27.

The film fest attracts more than 70 films, including 16 featured movies, 29 documentaries, 9 scientific films and 20 animated movies.
Movies compete for the “Awards for best feature film” include Khi Con La Nha (When You're Home), 11 Niem Hy Vong (11 Hopes), Bat Tu (Immortal), Thang nam ruc ro (Go Go Sisters), Thach Thao, Song Lang (The Tap Box), 100 Ngay Ben Em (100 Days With You), Anh Thay Ngoi Sao ( Superstar Teacher), Lat May 4: Nha Co Khach (Face Off 4: The Walking Guests),  Cua Lai Vo Bau (Win My Baby Back), Hanh phuc cua me (Mom's happiness), Hai Phuong (Furie), Thua Me Con Di (Goodbye Mother), Noi Ta Khong Thuoc Ve (Where we don't belong to), Truyen Thuyet Quan Tien (The Legend of Quan Tien), Hop Dong Ban Minh (Spread The Love).
A week of free film screenings is to be held at DCine in Ho Chi Minh City’s district 1 from November 6 to 12 to commemorate the 21st Vietnam Film Festival.
The Vietnam Film Festival  jointly organized by the Department of Cinema under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with the National Cinema Center aims to honor local cinematographic works featuring traditional characteristics, humanity and creativity; and pay tribute to movie makers and artists who have made outstanding contributions to the national movie industry.
