Vietnam – Japan Friendship Industrial Park inaugurated in Can Tho City

The Vietnam – Japan Friendship Industrial Park was inaugurated in November in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, marking the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.

Attending at the event were former President Truong Tan Sang and delegates of the Consulate-General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City and Japanese Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho City, Vo Thanh Thong committed that the local authorities will create advantages for investors and businesses which operate in the park.
In the first phase, the park will cover on an area of 30 hectares in Cai Cui Port, Cai Rang district, as part of the second-class logistics center in Mekong Delta region.
The complex about 15km from Can Tho Airport is near two international seaports, Cai Cui and Tan Cang receiving cargo vessels with the loading capacity of up to 20,000 tons.
