PNJ plans to issue 54 mln bonus shares

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) yesterday held annual shareholder meeting and it shareholders approved key plans in 2018.


PNJ plans to issue 54 mln bonus shares

In 2017, PNJ’s revenue reached VND 11,049 billion (increase of 28 percent). Of these, retail revenue was VND 5,780 billion (up 39 percent); pre-tax profit gained over VND 908 billion (up 54 percent) bringing the total revenue of up to VND 1,9trillion (up 36 percent).

It expanded more 50 stores last year, totaling the number of stores cross over the country up 269.

Mr. Le Tri Thong, General director said in the 2018-2022 period, the company will operate in electronics trade sector as well, and targets to reach online marketing revenue up to VND 150billion. It will be VND 1trillion in 2021.

At the meeting, its shareholders approved to issue bonus shares on a 50 percent ratio. As plan, PNJ will issue more 54 million-bonus shares for current shareholders on a 2:1 ratio.
