Petrol prices up due to increase of oil production cost

The prices of RON 92 petrol and RON95-III increased by VND 508 and VND 411 per liter yesterday, accordingly, RON 92 and RON95-III are sold at no more than VND19,440 and VND20,911 per liter.

Meanwhile the prices of diesel and kerosene increased VND 373 and VND 336 per liter. Their current ceiling prices are VND17,107 and VND15,917 per liter.
The price of mazut is VND 13,759 per kg, an increase of VND399. The cost of ethanol E100 went up by more than VND400 per liter to VND14,916.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance also decided to keep the use of the price stabilization fund for petroleum. Usage of the fund for RON 92 and RON95 are VND958 and VND451 per liter, while diesel and kerosene are VND200 per liter.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade explained that the cost of refined petroleum products in the world have been increased since the end of April.
