Kien Giang invites bids for three projects in Phu Quoc

The Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang is seeking more than VND4.85 trillion (US$208.5 million) in investment for three new projects on the island of Phu Quoc.

According to the Phu Quoc management board of economic zones, the island is inviting bids for Bac An Thoi high-end villa area which covers close to 53 hectares in An Thoi township. The project has total investment of more than VND3.4 trillion and a building coverage ratio of 30 – 35 percent.

The area for villas, business and services at Bai Truong tourist complex, Duong To commune needs approximately VND 1.07 trillion in investment. The project stretches across 11.24 hectares and has building coverage ratio of 20 – 25 percent.

Bidders are also being invited to invest VND372.5 billion in a 14.9-hectare domestic waste treatment plant at Bai Bon hamlet, Ham Ninh commune which has a designed capacity of 350 tonnes of waste per day.

The province pledges to provide investors with incentives in terms of tax rates, corporate income tax, land and support in developing infrastructure.
