Fuel prices increase by nearly VND1,000 per liter

The ministries of Finance and Industry and Trade have recently announced an increase in fuel prices as of 3p.m. on March 2.

The price of RON95-III and E5 RON92 gasoline rose by VND946 and VND939 per liter respectively to VND18,549 and VND17,211 per liter. Diesel oil 0.05S increased VND959 per liter to VND15,868. Kerosene was sold at VND14,885 per liter, up VND700. Mazut oil climbed VND808 per kilogram to VND14,083.

The level for setting up the fuel price stabilization fund will stay the same as currently, according to the ministries’ decision.

Subsidies for E5 RON92 were VND2,000 per liter from VND1,932 in the previous time. Those for RON95 gasoline were VND1,250 per liter from VND1,171. Allocations for diesel oil and kerosene were kept at VND1,354 and VND1,078 per liter respectively. Those for mazut oil were VND1,400 from VND1,699 per kilogram.

Earlier, gasoline prices had been kept unchanged for three consecutive periods. The latest time was on February 15.

Meanwhile, the level for setting up the fuel price stabilization fund was VND0 per liter for E5 RON92, VND300 per liter for RON95, diesel oil and kerosene and VND300 per kilogram mazut oil.
