According to the People’s Committee in Lang Son, the border gate has seen a rise of vehicles from around 80 – 150 vehicles a day to 250 vehicles a day. Most of the vehicles carry dragon fruit and agricultural produce.
China's sudden application of the new surveillance system to monitor all import-export procedures starting on October 12 has left lots of goods imported from China stuck at Lang Son Province's border gates.
Paying visits to Huu Nghi and Tan Thanh border gates, the Deputy Minister directed them to enhance management of commodity origin and actively work with the Chinese side for customs declaration.
