City’s trade promoter to continue backing up commercial, investment

The Ho Chi Minh City of Investment & Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) performed 201 commercial and investment promotion campaigns in 2018, said ITPC at a yesterday meeting to review its last year task and implement plan for next year.

ITPC promoted commercial and investment activities in and outside the country as well as received nearly 300 groups of investors that come to Vietnam to find out business environment and held seminar to exchange experiences.
ITPC director Pham Thiet Hoa, said that the center will continue supporting enterprises to expand export markets especially in these countries having signed free trade agreements (FTA), Asian countries and major markets such as the US, EU, Japan, South Korea, China, New Zealand and Canada.
Moreover, the center will further boost market exploitation in Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership member countries through surveys and connect enterprises with its partners, potential importers and retail corporations.
The center will enhance product and brand name promotion in the country; for instance, it will introduce products of enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City with residents in the South and launch campaign “Vietnamese people use Vietnamese-made goods in fairs and weeks for Vietnamese commodities.
