Previously in October, the Customs Division at Saigon Seaport also spotted nearly 8,500 garment products imported from China with fake Vietnamese and Korean origin labels.

In the meantime, the Customs Agency in the neighboring province of Binh Duong deterred a consignment of Chinese bicycles worth VND600 million ($25,784) with counterfeit Vietnamese origin.  The consignment was on its way to be exported to the US.
