The consumption number reached 230,958 products including Hyundai sale.
The reduction has been because of difficulties in doing import procedures according to Decree 116.
In the first half this year, Honda Vietnam reported low import number while most businesses was unable to import cars. So far, they have completed procedures as per regulations and import volume has quickly increased for the last two months.
By the end of this year, auto consumption is expected to hit 300,000 products, equal to the record high in 2016, with the growth rate of 7-8 percent.
