22 percent of cosmetic makers in Vietbeauty Show labeled Vietnamese

Nearly 100 Vietnamese cosmetics firms among 450 cosmetics makers, accounting for 22 percent, will showcase their new technologies and innovations at the Mekong Beauty and Vietbeauty Show in Ho Chi Minh City from August 22 to 24, said Mr.Bart Verheyen, the commercial director of beauty, health and wellbeing retail chain MEDiCARE.
Bart Verheyen emphasized that shares of Vietnamese –made cosmetics products have leaped up in the domestic market and export.
For instance, Vietnamese-made products make up 90 percent in total in Medicare outlet system.
He explained that Vietnam has huge potential for natural materials for making natural, organic and eco-friendly cosmetics products and beauty brands.
Coconuts, saffron and Aloe Vera which are used to make natural, organic and eco-friendly cosmetics products and beauty brands to appeal to the environmentally-conscious consumers are grown in every corner of the country.
On the other side, Director of Informa market ASEAN CP Shaw said that more and more foreign businesses arrived in Vietnam to find out production, investment environment as well as consumption and consumer trend in Vietnam.
For instance, cosmetics firms from the US, Australia, Canada, German, China, France, Italy, Hong Kong ( China), Japan, South Korea, Singapore registered to take part in this year exhibition.
The annual business-to-business beauty exhibition has established a platform for industry players in the entire supply chain covering beauty and cosmetics, hair and nails, herbal and health, and real knowledge in beauty business.
In the exhibition, there will be a special section to display organic and natural products.
