Vietnamese visitors to enjoy free admission to Hue relic sites

Vietnamese visitors will have a chance to enjoy free admission to the Complex of Hue Monuments site form February 16-18 (the 1st – 3rd day of the first lunar month), according to Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center Phan Thanh Hai.

The center will offer visitors a wide range of cultural activities on Tet holidays, such as reviving royal ceremonies and rituals, ceremonial music performances, dragon and kylin dance, folk sport games, performances of calligraphy, traditional martial arts and among.
The Complex of Hue Monuments welcomed 302,000 visitors in the first month of this year, including 262,000 international tourists, up 30 percent over the same period in 2017.
Hue heritages, including the Complex of Hue Monuments, Nha Nhac – Vietnamese court music, the woodblocks of the Nguyen Dynasty, the royal documents of the Nguyen Dynasty, and the royal literature on Hue royal architecture received UNESCO's recognition.
