Total revenue of the country's tourism sector reached VND 338, 000 billion.

According to VNAT, the result is remarkable as Vietnam has been experiencing of international visitor’s downturn.

At the end of 2015, the number of international travelers to Vietnam was rehabilitated and boosted. In the other hand, Vietnam waived Visa for single-entry visits from European countries for less than 15 days, including France, Germany, The UK, Spain, Italy and Belarus which contributed to the development of the sector. However, many experts in tourism sector expressed that the visa exemption had not enough time to boost the tourism industry from major markets especially the Western Europe as visitors from this market had frequently planned in advance 6 to 12 months.

VNAT targets to receive 8, 5 millions international travelers in 2016 with its total revenue at VND 370, 000 billion.
