Vietnam Airlines introduces new uniforms for flight attendants

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines introduces new uniforms for its pilots and cabin crew under a trial program on flight VN236 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on March 8.

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines introduces new uniforms for its pilots and cabin crew under a trial program on flight VN236 from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on March 8.

The introduction aims to get feedback from passengers and the public before being officially presented the uniform in the end of May.

The new uniform is designed by Minh Hanh, a veteran fashion designer specializing in ao dai in the country. The design which is inspired by lotus flower is a combination of combination of modern and traditional ao dai.

Air hostesses for business class will wear yellow ao dai, stewardesses for economy class will get blue ao dai.The uniforms for pilots and male flight attendants will be also changed in accordance with the carrier’s logo color and other facilities such as waiting room, ticket box, check-in counters and among.
