Vietnam Airlines among top carriers having the Best Business-Class Seat Design

Vietnam Airlines (VNA) was voted as having the Best Business-Class Seat Design on their widebody planes used for long haul flights, Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, by travelers who are readers of the Chinese Global Traveler Magazine in December.

Business class seating provides the most optimal comfort using sophisticated design and the latest technologies. Business Class seats offer maximum leg room and comfort, and can recline up to 180 degrees. Using clever design, it provides fully convertible flat-bed seats, a practical work station, private 15.4’’ screen, extra storage space, personal reading light, noise-cancelling head-phones, and extra large windows with light balance control.

As planned, the national carrier has received 33 wide-body airplanes, including 19 Boeing 787 and 14 Airbus A350 from June, 2015 till 2019. Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A350-900 are among the world’s most modern and advanced wide-body aircrafts.

VNA said it is planning to change aircrafts which are able to help save energy and environmental friendly. They will be used on international long routes and destinations in the country, Europe and North America, including Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City-London/Frankfurt, Hanoi-Paris/Seoul.

The “Best Business-Class Seat Design” title also went to United Airlines, Etihad Airways, Emirates Airlines, China Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Asiana Airlines, Air New Zealand and Air Canada. This voting result is based the opinions of readers of the Chinese Global Traveler Magazine in December.
