Budget carrier VietJet Air has received three new Airbus A320-200 aircrafts, raising the total number of planes to 15.

Vietjetair will receive some aircrafts to meet the increasing consumer demand during the upcoming summer, said Vietjetair officer.

The new aircrafts will provide more than 37,000 seats a week to its flight schedule.

VietJet Air launched its commercial activities in Vietnam and made its debut as a low-cost carrier at the end of 2011. To date, the carrier has currently operated 16 domestic and foreign routes.
