The Railway Company in Hanoi yesterday started to auction transport fee – a new form of business – through website.

Customers who want to hire the railway company to transport their commodities in North-South train can register the company’s official website Egov by bargaining the cost. The lowest price is equal to listed floor price. Additionally, customers can pay to purchase at least one wagon and a train at the maximum.
The system will automatically choose a person who offers the highest price.
In the first phase, the company will have two trains a week and later it will sell all north-south trains. It takes 50 hours for a North-South train.
Train No. HH7 departs at Giap Bat station at 10.20 PM on Fridays every week while train No. HH8 leaves at Song Than station at 10 PM on Mondays every week. A 18-wagon train includes flat wagons with hoods and open container wagons.
Currently, the company lists the price of wagons with hood. Anyone buying below five wagons will pay VND24,450,000 a wagon for one-way trip while it costs VND24,200,000 a wagon for one - way trip if buying more than five wagons.
For container wagon, a person will pay VND20,400,000 and VND20,200,000 if they buy below five wagons and five wagons up respectively for one-way trip.
