The Phu Bai International Airport in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue reopened on September 20 after several months of closure for upgrade work.
On the first day of reopening, the airport received thousands of passengers via seven flights of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
The newly reopened airport also welcomed 30 international travel agents of Farmtrip who will be studying and planning new tour routes.
