A passenger from Lai Chau province was charged VND 7. 5 million by Northern Airports Authority because she used identity card of other person as traveling on flight number VJ 471 from Hanoi to Nha Trang of Vietjet Air.
After scanning her luggage, the security officials detected passenger Leo Thi Mai from Tam Duong district, Lai Chau who used ID card of Doan Thi Hai from Yen Phong, Bac Ninh to check in the airport.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam often checked and detected many passengers using other personal papers to travel in domestic flights in the recent times.
The relevant authorities will continue controlling and penalizing the similar cases.
