The ship, named Chin Nghia EXPRESS 09 is built at the total capital of VND22 billion (more than US$900,000). It has 37m length, 8.2m width, and a total capacity of nearly 3,0 00 CV, carrying 280 passengers per trip.
The boat is equipped with modern equipment to provide more services for people and tourists.
According to Mr. Huynh Cong Tri, director of Ly Son Port Management Board, there are 7 high-speed boats transporting 1,000 passengers per trip from mainland to the island, cutting travel time between Sa Ky Wharf to Ly Son Island by 35-40 minutes.
