Beside a direct flight services from Da Nang International Airport to Narita (Japan) which has been launched by Vietnam Airlines, operating 6 flights per week since 2014, charter flights linking Japan with the Central coastal city of Da Nang will be offered in August meeting high demand of Japanese visitors to the Central Vietnam.

Representative of the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) in Vietnam, Nhan Phuong said that the number of Vietnamese tourists visiting Japan was 185,000 in 2015, up 40 percent compared to the same period last year; and reached 106,000 people in the first six months of this year.
