Jetstar Pacific to buy up to 10 Airbus crafts

Low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific Airlines announced it would buy 10 A320 CE0 Sharklet aircrafts from the European aerospace giant Airbus. The order will be delivered in 2017.

Low-cost carrier Jetstar Pacific Airlines announced it would buy 10 A320 CE0 Sharklet aircrafts from the European aerospace giant Airbus. The order will be delivered in 2017.

Airbus A320 CEO Sharklet is the latest version of the Airbus A320 family with low operating costs and the widest cabin in the single aisle market.

The airline will receive four Airbus A320s by the end of 2016 before receiving new ten A320 CEO Sharklet planes in 2017 as part of its expansion plan between 2016 and 2020, according to Chief Executive Officer of Jetstar Pacific Le Hong Ha.

The budget carrier has operated local domestic flights connecting Vietnam’s main airports in HCMC, Hanoi, Danang, Vinh, Hai Phong, Hue, Buon Ma Thuot, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc Island, and international routes from HCMC to Singapore and Thailand.
