Int’l tourist arrivals to VN increases 29.1 percent over 2016

According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the country welcomed 12.9 million international travelers in 2017, an increase of 29.1 percent compared to the previous year.

2017 marks new success of Vietnam’s tourism industry. In the first six months of 2017, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) announced that Vietnam was ranked the sixth position in the world and the Aisa- Pacific region in the  tourism growth and attractive tourism destination.
