Hundreds of Vietnamese influenced by Air France strike

The flag carrier of Vietnam--Vietnam Airlines yesterday announced that 130 passengers have been affected by Air France pilots’ strike as the French airline has decided not to make flights VN2016 Paris-HCMC on June 11 and VN2017HCMC-Paris on June 12.

The flag carrier of Vietnam--Vietnam Airlines yesterday announced that 130 passengers have been affected by Air France pilots’ strike as the French airline has decided not to make flights VN2016 Paris-HCMC on June 11 and VN2017HCMC-Paris on June 12.

Vietnam Airlines has boarded the affected passengers on its regular flights.

According to the announcement, the Syndicat National des Pilotes de Ligne (National Union of Airline Pilots) including Air France pilots went on strike from June 11-14. This might affect other passengers who have bought Vietnam Airlines tickets on flights to and from Paris or transiting the city. 

Vietnam Airlines advised passengers with plans to travel between Vietnam and France to update information from the media and official websites of Air France and Vietnam Airlines.
